This week, we mostly saw content from the South.
Well, a web series from the Telugu industry has recently been released in a Hindi-dubbed version; it is a feel-good romantic comedy-drama that explores relationships that are often difficult for society to accept—relationships that some people even ridicule.
So, what kind of experience does this series offer overall? Let’s take a look.
Least Eligible Bachelor: Story and Details
The series is titled Least Eligible Bachelor, and it consists of six episodes. Each episode runs for approximately 30 to 35 minutes. You can currently watch it on Netflix with a good Hindi dub.
Three Love Stories and a Promising Concept
The series revolves around a young man named Teja who, unfortunately, is unable to get married—a situation that deeply worries his family. Teja believes he isn’t good-looking, leading him to wonder why any woman would ever fall for him.
Frustrated by the pressure from his family, Teja moves to the city to take a job at an IT company.
But further in the story we see that Teja’s family finalizes his relationship with the HR of the same company in which Teja is working.
The series follows Teja and Madhu as they try to keep their relationship under wraps from the rest of the office. You will have to watch the show to find out if a genuine romance actually blossoms between them.
Additionally, the series features three distinct love stories, each showcasing a different type of relationship.
A Good Concept Let Down by Uneven Writing

If I were to sum up the show in a single line: the concept was great, but I wish it had been a movie instead of a web series—and the writing could have been better.
For now, the show falls into the “above-average” category. The humor works in some places but feels tedious in others.
However, the real highlight is the final episode, where the emotional arc of every character—whether it’s the manager, the lead, or the other employees—is portrayed beautifully. It was a truly satisfying conclusion to their journeys.
Also, the climax will remind you of the movie Premalu; the ending here is strikingly similar to the one in Premalu. And yes, the story will continue in Season 2.
The Biggest Problem: An Unrealistic IT Workplace
Honestly, the show is quite lame—literally, very lame. Look, if you’re doing comedy, having a few lame jokes or a lame character is fine. But having *every* single character be lame? That’s just beyond me.
Suppose these people are working at an IT firm here. They even have foreign clients. Yet, not a single person in the entire firm knows how to log out or shut down their laptop. No one knows how to do it.
There are only two people who actually work—no, wait, three: an HR person, an employee who handles everything, and a cleaner.
The manager here doesn’t know the job, and the coders they’ve hired are useless. I mean, they’ve turned IT into a complete joke, bro.
Tell me, who actually gets so worked up just because the cursor disappears—and then immediately jumps to the conclusion that the company has suffered a loss?
Is this some kind of comedy act? Is this what you call comedy?
If the makers are reading this review, I’d like to say—please use some common sense. You are portraying an IT firm. You could have set the story in a field where people generally have less technical knowledge; instead, you chose an IT firm but show things that make no sense.
I found it very irritating to watch; that is simply not how things work in IT firms. I have worked in an IT company myself, and this wasn’t just an issue in a single episode—throughout the show, there were many instances regarding the IT firm setting that were truly annoying.
Final Verdict
That’s why I’m giving the show a 5.5 out of 10. Every actor performed quite well, and the music is soothing in parts.
Overall, it’s watchable once, though you’ll need some patience to get through it because there were so many irritating scenes.
Regarding parental guidance: there are no nude or vulgar scenes. The Hindi dubbing is good, and—a very good decision—the songs haven’t been dubbed into Hindi.
So, friends, that was my review; I hope you found it useful.
