Shaque: Trust No One Review

I’ll slowly get over the pain of Paradise, it’s going to take time.

Now, let’s talk about the Netflix show Shaque, which has finally been released.

Shaque: Trust No One Story

Shaque tells the story of a mother who has been searching for her missing child for nine years. During this quest, she uncovers dark secrets involving her family and friends. To find out what those secrets are and whether the mother succeeds in locating her child, you will have to watch the series.

Shaque Review: A Mediocre Mystery Thriller

To be honest, this is a very mediocre mystery thriller; neither the story nor the central mystery felt particularly gripping or interesting to me. Plus, there are many elements in the plot that simply don’t make much sense. So, you don’t really need to tax your brain while watching this show.

Moreover, the series fails to get the audience emotionally invested in the story and characters; consequently, the few twists and turns it does offer fail to make any significant impact.

To top it off, the series concludes without creating any strong emotional resonance, which is quite disappointing.

Performances and Production

That said, the actors’ performances, the music, and the production quality are all decent.

Should You Watch It?

To sum it up, it’s a mediocre show, so I’m giving it a 6/10. I’d just say that if you’re a huge fan of mystery thrillers with nothing else on your watchlist, or if you’re new to the genre, you might watch it to kill some time with low expectations. Otherwise, feel free to skip it.

Oh, and you can watch this show with your family, though you will come across a few kissing scenes. Also, the story concludes in the first season, so you won’t have to wait for Season 2.
