The Legend of Hanuman Season 7 Review: When Will This Show Finally End?

Think about it—there are other Indian shows where it feels like an eternity before a third or fourth season arrives, yet here we have The Legend of Hanuman, which has already reached its seventh season.

So, is Season 7 worth your time? Let’s find out.

Well, friends, The Legend of Hanuman Season 7 picks up right where Season 6 left off, with Hanuman now on a quest to find the ‘Yam Mrityu Baan’. To discover what exactly that is, you’ll have to watch the show—it consists of eight episodes, each about 20 minutes long.

The Legend of Hanuman Season 7 Takes Too Many Creative Liberties

If I had to sum up this show in one word, I’d say: “Anything.”

Literally, bro, no effort was spared in presenting anything.

Last time, they were including other versions of the Ramayana—beyond just the Valmiki Ramayana—which didn’t really sit right with me; but I figured, “Oh well, let it be—they’ve got to stretch it out somehow.”

But now, we’re seeing things that don’t exist in the Valmiki Ramayana—or, for that matter, in *any* other version of the Ramayana. For instance, the “Yam Mrityu Baan” (Arrow of Death)—I looked it up, and I couldn’t find a single reference to suggest that such a weapon ever existed.

First, they strayed from the actual Ramayana, and now they’re essentially creating their own version of it. And hold on—there’s so much more! If we were to start breaking it all down, we’d end up creating an entirely new Ramayana of our own.

And, to top it all off, the show *still* hasn’t ended! Just wrap it up, bro! We’ve run out of patience—but your show just keeps going. How much longer are you going to drag this out? You’d be better off coming up with something else—try putting your brain to work on a different topic!

This is what happens when someone achieves success beyond their expectations—they lose their senses; and in this case, the creators have clearly lost theirs.

Honestly, I was expecting this to be the end—the final season of this franchise—but no, they’ve even gone as far as to include “aura farming” for Hanuman this time around.

Animation and Voice Acting: A Mixed Bag

While I will admit that the dialogues are somewhat better than before, there are still far too many flaws.

Whenever there’s narration, the animation used is absolutely terrible.

Overall, the animation just isn’t up to the mark this time. In some places, they’ve applied an extra filter to make the animated elements shine, while in others, they’ve removed it entirely—making everything look incredibly awkward.

In short, the animation lacks the quality and charm it once had. That said, the voice acting is quite good.

Is The Legend of Hanuman Season 7 Worth Watching?

Overall, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the makers are unnecessarily stretching the show out, much like chewing gum.

I didn’t like this show. Sure, you could watch it just to pass the time, but how are we supposed to accept these as fictional characters? You might call it “creative liberty,” but when you show just about anything under the guise of creative liberty, how are we expected to praise such a show?

People might curse me for this and say, “Just take the show as a show”—but why should I? When the story is about Hanuman Ji, there ought to be some authenticity! But no, they’re only interested in churning out season after season.

There’s no need for parental guidance here.

So, that concludes my review of Season 7 of The Legend of Hanuman.
