The Dark Secret of a Tantrik Family 25 Years Ago
The story unfolds in a desolate and mysterious village in North India, a place where Goddess Kamakhya is revered as a deity of immense power. The villagers hold such deep-seated faith that they believe no vow made at the Goddess’s shrine ever goes unfulfilled.
Yet, there is a dark side to this village. It is home to sinister families who, for generations, have been steeped in occult practices, black magic, and diabolical acts like human sacrifice. They claim to have received these powers directly from the Goddess herself—which is why ordinary villagers are terrified to even glance in the direction of their homes.
Now the wheel of time turns, and one of these Tantrik families leaves the village and runs away to Andhra Pradesh. They thought their past was over, but those scoundrels were unaware that a terrible 25-year-old blood revenge was coming to wipe out three of their generations.
The scene cuts straight, and a very cruel scene is shown on the screen. An unknown brute mercilessly kills a helpless pregnant woman.
And the limit of meanness is crossed when that devil rips open the stomach of that suffering woman and drags out the innocent newborn child from inside.
Taking the blood-soaked child, he runs towards an old statue in the deserted forest, but the murderer had no idea that a small child hiding in the bushes was watching his heinous act. That child, trembling with fear, reaches his grandfather and, shouting, gathers the entire village.
What now?
The entire village is in great disarray. People go after the murderer with axes, sticks and sharp weapons. The murderer sees that today the villagers will chew him raw. So he leaves the newborn child abandoned and runs away to save his life.
Then that little child, whom I told you was hiding in the bushes, comes forward and gathers the villagers and takes that innocent child in his lap.
The child had stopped breathing. There was no movement in the body.
On the other hand, the murderer runs away and reaches his home. And he says to his wife, ” Let’s go; we will have to run away now. But it was late. The enraged mob breaks down their doors, enters inside and tortures both the husband and wife to death.
One of their small, innocent children was watching this entire bloody game, crouching in the corner. Just then, an unknown woman comes out of the darkness and places her hand over the child’s mouth so that he does not scream.
After this, the suspense is left as to where the woman takes the child.
How Priya Gets Trapped by Sarojini’s Family
Now, the story jumps forward 25 years. We meet two girls who live together in a hostel. One of them is the main character. For simplicity, let’s call her Priya. The other is her roommate, Preeti.
Life for both was going absolutely cool. But there was a big problem with Priya. After losing his job, he had taken a loan from an online app, and now the interest had become a mountain.
The situation becomes so bad that the loan recovery goons enter the hostel and start threatening to take Priya away.
When Preeti sees all this, she comes forward to help her best friend Priya, and without thinking, she directly hands over one lakh rupees in cash to Priya.
Priya gives that money to the goons. But the goons give a clear ultimatum. Hey, one lakh won’t suffice; keep the rest of the money ready, otherwise we will make you disappear.
When Preeti hears all this, she becomes more puzzled as to where she should get the remaining money from. But Preeti has another solution which may save Priya.
Let’s see what happens.
The next morning, as soon as Priya wakes up, a lizard falls onto her phone; given that this is a thriller movie, it wasn’t just an ordinary occurrence—it was a sign of a terrible omen.
Meanwhile, Preeti, who worked at an insurance company, needed to go for an urgent document verification. However, due to a family emergency, she earnestly pleaded with her friend Priya, “Priya, please go to my place and just check these papers.” Priya agreed to do her a favor.
But poor Priya had no idea that she wasn’t just going to help out—she was effectively signing her own death warrant.
Then, a very strange and deranged family enters the scene. The family consists of just three people: the lady of the house, Sarojini, who trembles constantly; her son, who is completely mentally unstable and violent; and her husband, who is physically disabled and unable to walk.
Priya arrives at the doorstep of this ominous house. She was there to verify the insurance papers of a girl named Pragya. A ferocious dog tied at the entrance lunges at Priya, but Sarojini appears just in time and ushers her inside.
It is revealed that Pragya was the family’s daughter, who had recently died in a horrific accident.
Weeping, Sarojini tells Priya, “Dear, why don’t you go into Pragya’s room yourself and check the papers?” As Priya enters the room of the deceased woman, her eyes fall upon an exquisite and valuable ring kept in the wardrobe.
At that very moment, she receives a threatening call from a recovery agent. Terrified by the burden of debt, our main female protagonist, Priya, wavers in her integrity; she quietly picks up the ring and hides it in her bag. However, just as she attempts to rush out, that unhinged young man—Pragya’s brother—suddenly snatches her bag away.
All the papers scatter across the floor. Priya is gripped by panic, convinced that she is surely headed straight to jail for theft. But Sarojini and her husband scold their son, making him back off, and insist, “You are our guest; you cannot leave without having a meal.”

Now, picture the scene at the dining table. That deranged young man was touching Priya with lecherous intent; the atmosphere had turned incredibly creepy. Naturally, Priya wanted to get up and flee. But the helpless father of the house shouted in a booming voice, “You are like my dead daughter; you have to stay here tonight.”
Priya flatly refused, declaring she wouldn’t stay for even a minute. Yet, the moment she turned away after saying this, Sarojini’s innocent face transformed into that of a ruthless killer. She said in a chilling tone, “You cannot leave this place now, even if you want to.”
Before Priya could comprehend what was happening, her head began to spin, darkness clouded her vision, and she collapsed heavily onto the floor.
The truth was, the family had placed a dangerous sedative in the food.

Let’s see what happens next.
The scene shifts, and an inspector named Tirupathi enters the picture. Despite wearing a police uniform, he was a complete crook and a bribe-taker. He had absolutely no regard for honesty; his only concern was making money.
Meanwhile, when Priya regains consciousness, she finds herself in a dark, dungeon-like room. Her hands are bound with thick ropes. Summoning her courage, she uses a nearby matchbox to burn through the ropes and free her hands. She uses her dying phone to call Preeti, screaming tearfully, “Preeti, these people are not mentally stable. They’ve kidnapped me!”
However, amidst the noise and commotion of the engagement ceremony, Preeti fails to hear her clearly. Priya then tries calling the police directly on the emergency number (100), but just as she is about to give her address, the phone’s battery dies.
Now Priya had only one way to get free – to run away. She sneaks out of the room. But a thick lock was hanging on the main gate. She hides in the bathroom in fear and tries to run away by climbing the lighted platform above, but she slips and falls, bleeding.
Hearing the sound of falling, the mentally ill boy starts banging on the bathroom door. The door was about to break when Priya’s eyes fell on the ground, and she read the boy’s medical report. That boy had a disease called hypersexual disorder. Priya took advantage of this.
She opens the door and coaxes him, or rather attracts him towards herself, if you show me the way out, I will kiss you. The boy gets carried away, and Priya pushes him away and runs to the other corner of the house. But then Sarojini and her husband come from the front with sticks.
Now the bloody race of the rat and cat had started in that house.
Meanwhile, the corrupt police officer, Tripathi, receives a call from the control room about a report of an attempted kidnapping in that very area. Irritated, he takes his jeep and heads out to investigate.
Elsewhere, while fleeing, Priya rushes into an old, locked room. She is left wide-eyed with shock at the sight that greets her.
Lying in the center of the room is a decomposing corpse—and it is none other than Pragya, the very girl whose insurance papers Priya had come to verify.
Priya’s scream echoes through the house. Sarojini rushes over, locks the door from the outside, and reveals a truth that will make your blood run cold.
Sarojini says, “Yes, this is indeed the corpse of my daughter, Pragya. Our family has a belief: if a girl born under a specific *nakshatra* (constellation) is sacrificed, Goddess Kamakhya will be pleased and bring my daughter back to life—and we have chosen you for that sacrifice, Priya.”
Her family drags Priya to the altar used for occult rituals, where a terrifying idol of the Goddess and blood-stained sacrificial items were laid out. But just then, the story takes such a shocking twist that I was left dumbfounded—and trust me, you will be too.
When the family goes to retrieve Priya’s body for the sacrifice, they find it missing; panic erupts throughout the house. They start searching for the body. Seizing this opportunity, Priya steals the key to the lock.
She unlocks the door and bolts outside. A ferocious dog chases her, forcing her to abandon her scooter and run barefoot down the road in a state of panic.
Preeti’s Shocking Betrayal and the 25-Year-Old Secret
At midnight, she stands in the middle of the road, pleading with passing vehicles for help. A car stops, but the men inside—a group of thugs—try to abduct her. Priya somehow manages to escape their clutches and flees into the dark alleyways.
Suddenly, someone grabs her hand with a firm grip. Terrified, Priya turns around—and guess who is standing there? Her best friend, Preeti.
Priya tearfully embraces her, crying, “Preeti, save me! Those people are monsters.” But the very next second, what Preeti does will leave you absolutely stunned. Preeti flashes a sinister smile, twists Priya’s arm, and begins dragging her back toward that cursed house.
Yes—the very friend Priya trusted with her life turned out to be the true mastermind behind this deadly game.
Now, a flashback reveals the entire sordid history from 25 years ago. Remember that family of *tantriks* (occultists) from the beginning whom the villagers had killed? The *tantrik’s* younger daughter was none other than Preeti—the very girl Sarojini had rescued and raised in Andhra Pradesh.
The poison of black magic had coursed through Preeti’s veins since childhood.
Twenty-five years ago, Preeti’s *tantrik* father had plotted a human sacrifice for a wealthy man. He had insisted that the sacrifice required a child born under a specific astrological constellation. When such a child could not be found, he had cut open a pregnant woman’s womb to extract the infant.
Now, twenty-five years later, when Sarojini’s daughter Pragya died, Preeti struck a deal to bring Pragya back to life using her occult powers. However, this required the sacrifice of another girl born under that same specific constellation. And that specific constellation belonged to none other than our main character, Priya.
Preeti hadn’t just stumbled upon Priya out of the blue; she had spent a full ten months conducting surveillance on her. She had feigned friendship, exploited her debt, and—the moment the opportune moment arrived—led her to the sacrificial altar.
How Did Preeti Die?
Now, the story returns to the climax. Priya is placed back on the sacrificial altar. Sarojini holds a sharp dagger; chanting mantras, she raises the weapon to slit Priya’s throat.
Suddenly, there is a knock on the door. Standing outside is Tripathi, the corrupt policeman who has been checking houses while investigating a kidnapping report.
Preeti comes out and lashes out at him, demanding to know how he dared to enter without a warrant and telling him to get lost.
Tripathi steps outside but spots an unattended scooter—the very one belonging to Priya. He immediately calls the control room and confirms that the vehicle indeed belongs to her.
Realizing that something sinister is unfolding inside, Tripathi decides to stay put.
Meanwhile, inside, Sarojini brings the dagger down with all her might. However, at that exact moment, Preeti slips and falls right in front of the altar; consequently, Sarojini’s lethal strike lands on Preeti’s neck instead of Priya’s.
With a single blow, Preeti’s head is severed from her body. Sarojini screams; in her desperate attempt to bring one daughter back to life, she had ended up beheading the other. Yet, the deranged woman refuses to stop. Clutching the blood-stained dagger, she advances toward Priya. Just then, the police break down the door and storm in.
Tirupati and the police force hold the entire family at gunpoint, and Sarojini is arrested.
Is Priya Really Goddess Kamakhya?
Priya has escaped the jaws of death but remains in a state of shock.
As Tirupati reaches out to hold her hand and steady her, a hazy memory from twenty-five years ago resurfaces in her mind. She recalls being a stillborn infant left near the idol of the Goddess. Suddenly, a red *chunri* (sacred veil) from the idol fluttered down onto the baby, breathing life back into the lifeless infant. People had cried out in awe, hailing it as a miracle—a manifestation of Goddess Kamakhya.
And here, the movie’s most chilling twist is revealed: Priya is none other than Goddess Kamakhya herself.
Priya was the very child who had been delivered via a C-section twenty-five years ago; she was someone whom death could not claim back then, and even now, after twenty-five years, death was forced to retreat in defeat.
Did Pragya Come Back to Life? The Ending Explained
In the end, when the police took Pragya’s body to the morgue for a post-mortem, the doctors were left stunned—for despite tight police security, Pragya’s body had vanished from the morgue.
Did Pragya truly come back to life, or is there more to this game of black magic? The movie concludes on this chilling note.
